  • Perform industry research, competitor benchmarking and stay informed of recent banking and fraud trends to ensure Ventas remains forward-looking and delivers best-in-class Treasury Operations support for the business and operators
  • Administer and improve bank portal entitlements for Senior Housing operators including associated control frameworks, reporting and training requirements
  • Manage fraud claims from detection to resolution, coordinating with internal teams, operators and financial institutions to maximize recovery
  • Drive cash automation and reporting enhancement efforts to improve visibility and enable optimization across the treasury portfolio for Senior Housing
  • Manage and enhance establish controls that effectively mitigate risk while supporting operators in managing the business efficiently
  • Support cash forecasting efforts by developing a deep understanding of key cash drivers including operator payroll, rent inflows and timing, and investment portfolio activity
  • Oversee critical elements of the operator / property treasury lifecycle, including upfront earnest money deposits, management agreement review, operator onboarding, operator bank portal entitlements, banking infrastructure setup, cash rent reporting and closing statement reviews
  • Lead efforts to scale Treasury Operations to support our rapidly growing Senior Housing business, with a focus on operator engagement, process and technology enhancements and risk management.
  • Serve as primary Treasury point-of-contact for recurring operator engagement efforts focused on sharing best practices, optimizing cash management and ensuring compliance with controls and policies

  • Prior experience supporting a business or external stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment that is results oriented and collaborative
  • Self-starter. Structured ways of working. Working in ambiguity and developing new processes or redefining existing processes will be a critical component of the role.
  • 4-year undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, similar business field required. MBA and/or JD preferred
  • Strong analytical skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Experience working with Treasury workstations is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate Treasury setting
  • Experience navigating in major banking portals (JPM Morgan, Bank of America CashPro, Wells Fargo CEO, PNC, etc.). for payment processing, fraud prevention tools, and user administration are a plus
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate internally and externally
