Design Engineer

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design and delivery of some of the largest and most complex projects in the industry. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to produce high-quality BMS designs that ensure performance, efficiency, and reliability across mission-critical environments.

• Write Control Narratives – Develop comprehensive control narrative documents that clearly outline system functionality, logic, and operational sequences.
• Design BMS Systems – Collaborate with project teams and clients to capture requirements and develop detailed system design plans.
• Testing & Commissioning Support – Validate system performance through testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Produce Panel Drawings (CAD) – Create accurate electrical control panel and system component drawings to ensure precise integration and installation.
• Program Smart Systems – Engineer BMS devices and strategies to optimise performance, improve efficiency, and reduce energy consumption.
• Develop Front-End GUIs – Configure user-friendly graphical interfaces to provide intuitive control and monitoring for end users.

Are you an experienced BMS Design Engineer ready to take the next step in your career?

• Experience with CAD drawing and control narrative documentation is preferred although training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of computer programming and technology, including front-end GUI development is preferred although training will be provided.
• Some experience in building automation systems (Trend, Distech, Tridium) is preferred although training will be provided.

€45,000 – €65,000 Basic + Training + Technical Progression + Pension + Package + Yearly Bonus
