Operate and monitor the Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) system. The system will be monitored from a security perspective to detect unauthorized penetration of the Terminal.
Maintain control of the Terminal’s Key Control System. Establish and maintain a close liaison with the LNG Operations Foreman to keep him informed of any security-related developments/incidents that may occur at the Terminal and to ensure a high degree of coordinated response when Operations support or assistance is required. Likewise, the LNG Operations Foreman would maintain similar open communication with the security force via the LNG Lead Security.
Provide constant supervision over the security personnel assigned to his/her shift and covering the duties of all security positions when necessary.
During “Off Hours” (Between 1700 hours and 0600 hours on weekdays, all day on weekends and holidays), the LNG Lead Security shall be informed of the presence of all visitors, employees and contractors on the facility.
Initiate a Security Incident Report on any unusual occurrence or incident that may have an impact on the security of the Terminal.
Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the on-duty security shift. Supplements the Port Operations, Safety & Security Manager, in his absence, or as directed.
Initiate and maintain the Daily Security Log, making entries on a regular basis.

Demonstrate the ability to read and understand printed regulations, plans, detailed written orders and training instructions. The ability to compose daily logs and reports of incidents is required.
Demonstrate the ability to read and write English equivalent to a high school graduate.
Have the ability to verbally communicate in English, particularly in emergency situations that require clear and definitive articulation, to assure the confidence, control and safety of those involved.
Security personnel must project a professional appearance at all times.
Security personnel must apply courtesy, restraint and interest when dealing with employees and the general public in the performance of the security mission.
Must have at least 10 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and walk up 3 flights of stairs
Maintain literacy in basic computer skills including proficiency in word processing programs, e-mail, and spreadsheets.
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent formal education, training or job experience.
