What you would be doing

  • Ensure company fleet vehicles are on routine maintenance schedules and maintaining records for the fleet.
  • Perform routine maintenance on building operational control systems such as shop compressor, security gate systems, dock control systems, garage doors or other similar building related control systems.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and ladders in preparing for corporate events.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent facility issues such as power outages, equipment failures or safety hazards.
  • Vendor Coordinator: Coordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Must ensure the cleanliness of restrooms, offices, walls and windows.
  • Plan, organize and implement facilities cleaning.
  • Inspections and Troubleshooting: Perform daily tours to identify and correct any facilities deficiencies.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform minor maintenance repairs such as drywall repairs, painting, heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Monitor, maintain and reorder facilities maintenance supplies.
  • Exercise a safety conscious attitude in order to identify, report, and rectify contrary situations or behaviors.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of commercial buildings.
  • Current forklift license and elevated platform experience is a plus.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move and carry equipment, materials, with the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks. Will regularly be working with objects around 50lbs.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across multiple building systems, and ability in safe conduct and work initiative.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalents required; training or certifications in relevant trades.
  • Should currently hold an OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
