The Technician 1 position focuses on keeping equipment operational through regular service and fixes, covering a range of assets such as aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty equipment like generators, pumps, HVAC and oil‑&‑gas systems.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, with trade‑school training considered a plus, and ideally have one to three years of experience servicing diesel, heavy‑construction, or specialty line equipment.
Successful technicians may need to supply their own tools, possess solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and be able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment; bilingual ability may be required for certain locations.
