Key responsibilities include developing and delivering performance‑based training, preparing examinations and evaluating trainees, supporting outage and root‑cause activities, keeping training content current with regulatory and industry updates, maintaining auditable training records, and participating in NRC, INPO and management audits while supporting business initiatives and emergency preparedness.
- Design, schedule, and deliver performance‑based maintenance and technical training for CEC staff.
- Create and administer trainee examinations and evaluate performance in classroom, lab, OJT, and simulator settings.
- Provide outage, root‑cause, and line‑assessment support for the clean energy center.
- Update training programs using INPO, NRC, and Constellation event reports and regulatory changes.
- Manage auditable training records and generate required reports.
- Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and respond to findings.
- Support business initiatives, project management, emergency preparedness, and special projects.
- Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support as needed.

The role requires mastery of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and modification of plant‑specific maintenance and technical training programs across chemistry, engineering, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and radiation protection disciplines.
- Minimum qualifications: high school diploma/GED with 5 yr nuclear technical experience, or associate’s degree with 3 yr nuclear experience, or bachelor’s degree with 3 yr instruction experience; plus 2 yr training/education experience and compliance with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards.
- Preferred qualification: foreman/lead or supervisory experience.
