Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for major spend categories, including requirements’ definition, market analysis, supplier identification & evaluation, contract negotiation, and implementation.

Support the Sourcing Director and the VP of Procurement in developing departmental strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with internal business units to understand needs, identify opportunities, and drive procurement best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing processes and systems.
Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements, coordinating with relevant functions, to protect company interests / mitigate supply risks, while fostering strong supplier partnerships.

8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and/or category management.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Achievement of annual cost savings, spend under management and supplier performance goals.
Experience with, or relevant education / training, in technical categories of spend (preferably with electrical apparatus, components, systems and services).
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (MBA or professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS preferred).
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
Experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle).
Proven track record of delivering cost savings / value and managing supply risk through strategic sourcing.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
