The role involves close interaction with clients, performing tests to recognised standards, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with technician teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule. You will also take part in specific projects where you will be responsible for costing, organising, and delivering results.
- Liaise with clients to ensure requirements are met, including quoting, contracting, and obtaining product and specimen information
- Conduct tests according to appropriate standards and approved procedures
- Prepare test reports that fully comply with test standards and the quality manual
- Work with technician teams to ensure test preparations and testing are completed to specification and on time
- Participate in specific projects to cost, organise and complete

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in a civil, scientific or engineering discipline, with a solid understanding of construction materials and basic IT skills such as Word and Excel. Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, communication, and attention‑to‑detail abilities are essential, as is a calm, confident demeanor that enables you to build rapport with both clients and colleagues.
