- Coordinate AP Assistants to ensure accurate and timely invoice input.
- Assist with uploading, keying, and reviewing vendor invoices as needed.
- Verify invoice documentation for completeness, accuracy, proper authorization, coding, and GL distribution.
- Perform vendor maintenance, set up new vendors, and handle vendor inquiries about payment status or discrepancies.
- Generate and oversee timely mailing of checks for Equity Residential Management Corp and Equity Residential Operating LP.
- Onboard and train new staff on all AP procedures and systems.
- Review AP Assistants' work, maintain staff scorecards, provide monthly feedback, and hold staff accountable for performance standards.
