Floating Leasing Consultant

Description

The Leasing Consultant role involves handling leasing, marketing, and resident‑relation duties for a property, including showing units, processing applications, and maintaining positive community engagement. The position requires regular onsite attendance and the ability to manage both administrative tasks and resident satisfaction.

• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases.
• Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up with prospects.
• Complete leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover.
• Track prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours.
• Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet leasing targets.
• Perform administrative duties and resolve resident complaints, concerns, and requests.
• Help develop resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters.
• Maintain cleanliness of office, common areas, and model units.
• Support annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, and produce weekly market reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request response times, and enforce community policies.

Requirements

• Require High School diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.
• Must understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA regulations.
• Physical ability to climb ladders or stairs, lift or move objects up to 25 lb, and stand or sit for long periods.
• Availability for overtime, weekends, night shifts, and emergency situations; able to operate machinery, power tools, vehicles or golf carts.

Benefits

Compensation is $22 per hour plus a total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, commission and performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. The role may require overtime, weekend or night shift work to address emergencies.
