- Training and mentoring of new hires into department.
- Assists in developing and maintaining technical documentation for core stacking and assembly procedures
- Performs stacking and assembly of silicon steel sheets for transformer cores, including placement of oil channels and insulation, and operates overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling
- Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
- Reads technical drawings, conducts measurements and inspections, and ensures alignment with required tolerances and specifications
- Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
- High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
- Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges
- Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
- Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.
- Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
- Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Fork Truck License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights.
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the medium to large transformer core stacking process.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
