The QA Lead – India will empower and guide a team of QA engineers embedded in agile software development teams focused on transportation and asset management solutions. Reporting to a global QA leadership community, the role demands technical excellence, people development, and a culture of innovation aligned with Arcadis’ vision for pragmatic, fast‑feedback quality assurance.

Lead, mentor, and inspire QA engineers, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
Drive adoption of modern test automation tools (web required, mobile a strong plus) and set high standards for quality, coverage, and maintainability.
Guide agile teams with pragmatic, risk‑based testing, specification by example, and automation strategies.
Contribute to and shape the evolving QA strategy for Arcadis Digital Intelligence, sharing vision with the global QA community.
Act as a connector between QA, developers, product owners, UX, and other QA leads, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
Ensure QA activities support the delivery of high‑quality software focused on customer value, traceability, and measurable outcomes.

Adapt to a global organization, supporting teams and stakeholders across different time zones, including the USA West Coast.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of QA experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience leading distributed or global QA/testing teams and coaching junior engineers.
Hands‑on expertise with web test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and preferably mobile (Appium).
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation.
Deep knowledge of modern QA methodologies such as risk‑based testing, specification by example, and test automation strategy.
Hands‑on experience in agile (Scrum/Kanban) product teams, emphasizing continuous delivery and short feedback loops.
Excellent English communication skills for coaching, stakeholder interaction, and global collaboration.
Clear vision for developing QA maturity and contributing to global QA strategy and innovation.
Willingness and ability to work across time zones, especially with Europe and North America.
