HVAC Technician - Commercial Refrigeration - Site Based

Description

• Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and equipment installations
• Maintain/Diagnose/Repair a variety of climate control chillers, boiler systems, and climate control HVAC equipment
• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines
• Participate in client meetings when required
• Use of a company vehicle for service delivery
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems
• Utilize mobile technology for efficient communication and real-time reporting
• Safely utilize equipment following appropriate protocols and procedures

Requirements

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, as well as a broad range of skills in corrective, preventative, and routine repair/maintenance procedures. The successful candidate will also possess experience with commercial equipment installation, which may include HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing tasks.

Are you looking for the next step in your career? tdgFacilities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Site-Based HVAC Technician with a focus on Commercial Refrigeration and Walk-ins, in addition to having strong experience in Commercial HVAC systems. Experience with RTUs, Chillers/Boilers is a plus.

• 5+ years of HVAC experience
• Experience working in commercial refrigeration systems
• Pipe welding experience preferred but not required
• 2+ years of chiller experience.
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experienced in best practices for preventative maintenance and proactive services
• Ability to actively interface with a work order management system
• Highly organized and able to self-manage and perform essential tasks to the highest standard
• 3+ years of boiler experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail
