- Resolve ordering oversights and or anomalies when identified
- Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with Building regulations and Metricon policies
- Create and complete estimates including all variations, selections and site cost items
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders; and
- Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved
- Identify potential site issues in standard BOQs and record all amendments in the masters plans

- Working knowledge of construction processes and details
- Working knowledge of an estimating system (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage; and
- At minimum a Cert IV in Building Construction is essential, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage
- Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Accuracy of work to minimise margin erosion
- 3-5 years' residential estimating experience preferred, or a Trade background, with quoting, a desirable background
