The Engineering Manager oversees the development of seamless collaborative applications, including cloud‑connected SaaS and customer‑managed single‑tenant products. This role is a technical, hands‑on leader who works with cross‑functional members of the product‑engineering organization and interacts with other key stakeholders across Bluebeam.
In this role you will lead teams through the software development lifecycle, recruit and mentor engineers and tech leads, and set and track individual goals. You will also participate in expense approval and budget planning, creatively solve technical and human‑factor problems, and communicate clear decisions to stakeholders.
Effective collaboration is essential; you will conduct meetings with stakeholders to present data‑driven decisions, communicate in a 360‑degree fashion, and work closely with architects, product delivery managers, engineers, and quality engineering to deliver excellence.
We are looking for candidates with 15+ years of industry experience and at least 3 years of technical leadership managing teams of six or more engineers. Experience in identity management or licensing, strong skills in GoLang (preferred), C#/.NET, or TypeScript, and Amazon AWS expertise are required. Candidates should also have a background in microservices, containerization, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, GitHub/GitLab), REST APIs, and cloud‑native technologies, along with strong communication and leadership abilities.
Bluebeam offers a people‑focused, entrepreneurial culture backed by the global Nemetschek corporation, with competitive compensation, 100% paid medical premiums for employees, fully vested 401(k) from day one, and generous PTO including sick, mental health, and volunteer days. Employees also receive unlimited access to BetterUp Care, LinkedIn Learning, and up to $5,000 annual education reimbursement after one year, supporting continuous professional development and work‑life balance.
Base pay for this position ranges from $153,800 to $211,400, complemented by bonus or commission plans as applicable, and we encourage applicants even if the compensation is not an exact fit.
