What you would be doing

Promote health, safety and wellbeing, ensuring the provision of safe working practices in line with Environment Agency guidance.
Provide the delivery of environmental management tasks and routine compliance checks.
Assist with the planning and delivery of large Capital Expenditure Projects.
Use your interpersonal skills to assist with the management of local contracts such as M&E maintenance and cleaning.
Assist with the resolution of building breakdowns and repairs e.g. heating, water, gas, security and safety critical laboratory equipment such as local exhaust ventilation and oxygen depletion sensors
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training, and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
Work as part of a team to complete front of house Facilities tasks – receiving deliveries, visitors and Permits to Work etc.
