Internship - Construction Project Management

Description

Interns collaborate with project managers on estimating, material procurement, and overall project oversight, gaining practical construction experience while contributing to project teams. They also participate in Hooper’s Capstone Project, attend intern events, and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

Candidates should be pursuing a degree in engineering, construction project management, or a related field, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with the construction industry, teamwork orientation, proficiency in Microsoft Suite or AutoCAD, full‑time availability for 12 weeks, and willingness to travel to job sites are required.

• Acquire practical construction experience and contribute to project teams.
• Pursue a degree in Engineering, Construction Project Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess basic knowledge of the construction industry (preferred but not required).
• Work well in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD as needed.
• Commit to full‑time (40 hrs/week) work for a 12‑week summer period and be willing to travel to job sites.
