What you would be doing
- Quality Assurance Ensure materials meet specs and approvals. Coordinate inspections and handle non-conformance and replacements. Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement Suggest process and cost-efficiency improvements. Support ERP adoption (e.g., SAP-MM) and assist the Senior Officer. Handle additional duties as assigned.
- Stakeholder Coordination Work with engineers, planners, and site teams to prioritize needs. Share updates on procurement status and resolve delays. Bridge communication between suppliers and internal teams.
- Vendor Management Identify, assess, and prequalify MEP vendors and subcontractors. Float enquiries, evaluate offers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Procurement Planning Review MEP material requisitions and BOQs. Align procurement schedules with project timelines and lead times to ensure timely ordering.
- Cost & Budget Control Analyze offers for value, prepare comparisons, and seek approvals. Monitor spending vs. budget and flag deviations or savings.
- Documentation & Compliance Manage POs, subcontract agreements, and related documents. Ensure compliance with specs, standards, and contracts. Keep accurate procurement records.
- MEP Procurement Procure HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing materials, and related consumables. Coordinate subcontract services, equipment hire, and labor as needed. Ensure timely delivery with complete documentation.
- Logistics Management Arrange transport, offloading, and storage as per PO terms. Track deliveries, manage schedules, and resolve delays.
