Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Executive I to provide overall management for large projects, lead the project team, and maintain successful customer relations while assisting operating groups in winning work. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, efficiency, professionalism, and confidentiality. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
Postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. - Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management overseeing large projects
- Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web applications
- Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current driver’s license

- Ability to travel up to 50‑75% of the time
Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $168,100 – $252,200, with higher ranges for specific office locations such as Denver, CO and Chicago, IL (5% higher), Seattle, WA and Portland, OR (10% higher), and Washington, D.C. (12.5% higher). Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
