The role performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving to support nuclear plant operations, acting as a resource and technical expert for engineers while making critical technical decisions. It requires deep knowledge of functional discipline, practical application, and relevant industry codes and regulations.
Minimum qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering, along with the necessary access permissions and a favorable medical exam. Entry‑level candidates need no experience, mid‑level candidates must have at least two years of nuclear or related engineering experience, and senior candidates need five or more years. Experience with decommissioning cost estimates is highly preferred.
