Description

The Closing Document Review Specialist audits mortgage loans and reviews completed closing documents for accuracy, proper execution, and timely completion. This role ensures all required paperwork is signed, dated, and correctly filed while maintaining quality‑control standards.

• Audit closing packages to verify all documents are present, signed, and dated correctly.
• Follow up with relevant parties on any missing or incorrect documents.
• Communicate status updates to branch and other departments.
• Resolve investor and insurance suspense items and keep post‑closing teams informed.
• Assign final closing documents to the appropriate container in the imaging system.
• Maintain acceptable timelines and achieve quality‑control score targets for post‑closing activities.
• Keep the outstanding condition pipeline updated with current comments on follow‑up documentation.
• Clear all applicable post‑closing conditions.
• Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit.
• Work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with one to two years of related experience. Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and proficiency with MS Office and email are essential.

An associate degree and familiarity with governmental requirements for mortgage loan processes are considered a plus. The company seeks enthusiastic team players who can contribute to its rapid growth and success.
