CMTA is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer for the federal market to work in our Energy Solutions offices in Media, PA and Baltimore, MD. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest growing part of the company. The role suits a self‑motivated engineer with a strong technical background, particularly those with HVAC design and commissioning experience who can transition to energy engineering.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm serving the federal market, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. Familiarity with DOE or Army Corps IDIQ contracts, DoD cyber‑security requirements, Unified Facility Guide criteria, and building utility management systems is preferred. Experience with building simulation, HVAC, automation, lighting, envelope, domestic water, microgrids, central steam plants, and cogeneration is also valuable.
