Project Landscape Architect- Project Manager

Description

We are currently seeking a Project Landscape Architect – Project Manager for our Boston, MA office. In this role you will lead design efforts on K‑12 schools, parks, playgrounds and multi‑family housing, overseeing multiple projects from concept through completion. You will work directly with team members, leadership, clients and contractors, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and managing project budgets to meet client expectations. The position also includes mentoring junior staff throughout all design phases and offers strong growth potential toward a leadership role.

• Lead design of K‑12 schools, parks, playgrounds, and multi‑family housing projects.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through construction, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Prepare concept, schematic, planting, code research, construction documents, cost estimates, and site‑as‑built reviews.
• Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, client meetings, and address client concerns.
• Mentor and train junior staff throughout all design phases.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Collaborate effectively, lead teams, and foster positive working relationships.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Hold a BA/MA in Landscape Architecture and a Professional Landscape Architecture (PLA) license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including construction administration.

• Salary range $106,000–$145,000 plus bonuses, stock options, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life, PTO, flexible schedule, tuition reimbursement).
