The Maintenance Clerk provides administrative support to the maintenance function, ensuring parts are available cost‑effectively and maintaining fleet records for inventory, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance.
Key duties include daily entry of fleet information into the computerized management system, acting as a point of contact with vendors for ordering and payment, preparing truck purchase orders with proper GL codes, processing transactions via ePro, and receiving, tagging, stocking and dispensing parts to mechanics according to policy.
The clerk reviews purchase orders with accounting, generates productivity and usage reports, follows safety policies, reconciles financial data to the Lawson general ledger, supports the Fleet Manager with analysis of fleet operations, resolves data errors, and may assist with parts organization and inventory.
Qualifications include related experience in the maintenance or trucking industry and at least one year of general office experience or equivalent training.
