Validate that material inventories are accurately filled, loaded, and transported to keep projects on schedule.
Attend meetings to provide material status updates to project managers and contractors.
Assist in expediting materials, tracking missing shipments, and resolving material availability issues.
Create inventory worksheets for physical inventories and process material returns.
Coordinate and schedule the release of materials to contractors as per contract agreements.
Alert the Project Manager and/or project team of any material issues and provide updates throughout resolution.
Offer external stakeholders a written and/or verbal overview of technical specifications regarding material procedures.
Review Bills of Materials, availability of Government Furnished Materials, and Material Request Order Status Reports to validate materials for projects are ordered and available at construction Notice to Proceed.
Participate in the improvement process by recommending new or revised procedures and processes.
Maintain filing systems, files, emails, and records in compliance with standards and procedures.
Provide construction contractors with detailed lists of required project materials and quantities.
Extract and analyze reports of material charges against project work orders, resolving discrepancies.
Run pre-defined reports to identify unavailable materials for projects and submit written notifications to the project team.
Collaborate with Investment Recovery for the return of project materials for future use or disposal.
Monitor, track, and report all material usage and calculate costs of materials wasted, lost, or damaged.

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply and logistics management, construction management, engineering, or a closely related technical field is desired.
5 years of engineering operations experience in supporting construction logistics and engineering operations.
Working knowledge of SharePoint for data entry and retrieval.
Ability to manage support for assigned projects and provide advice to achieve desired outcomes.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Extremely detail-oriented and capable of working independently on multiple complex projects.
Strong oral communication skills for conveying technical advice and information.
Experience with Oracle-based Enterprise Resource Planning software.
Broad knowledge of engineering operations policies and procedures involving material and equipment inventory and control.
Excellent customer service and communication skills in fast-paced environments.
Experience with Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
High level of organizational abilities, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
Comfortable working from established rules, guides, or processes.
Ability to identify problems and communicate them to leadership effectively.
