Biomechanical Engineer - Forensic Expert

Description

• Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
• Use your cumulative training, experience, and critical thinking skills.
• Analyze and evaluate the technical and scientific aspects of incidents, injuries, and medical device failures.
• Apply the scientific and engineering principles of bioengineering and biomechanics to investigate incidents involving claimed injuries/fatalities due to an event.
• Provide expert testimony.
• Collaborate with highly respected experts.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of bioengineering/biomechanics experience, post-doctoral work.
• You have a B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited University.
• You have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.
• You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
• You have a Ph.D. in an engineering discipline.
• Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.
• You have excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Your Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) experience is a plus.
