What you would be doing

  • Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stocktaking
  • Administer engineering stock and communicate updates to site management
  • Support budgetary control and financial reporting
  • Ensure EH&S requirements are met and maintained across stores operations
  • Identify and recommend alternative suppliers to reduce budget costs
  • Use SAP to manage purchasing data, monitor stock, and report accruals
  • Make a meaningful impact on site operations
  • Generate purchase requisitions and manage GRNs
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
  • Act as the first point of contact for all deliveries of raw materials and consumables
  • Plan and coordinate site purchasing activities efficiently
  • Undertake any relevant training required for the role
  • Control and manage ordering, receipting, storing, and issuing of stores items
  • Help drive cost-effective and safe practices
