  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam, ensuring precision in estimates and material requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal sales team and vendors to ensure proposals and drawings reflect accurate field conditions and scope.
  • Track proposal and submittal progress and assist in continuous process improvement.
  • Review architectural drawings and finish schedules to identify window covering requirements and confirm compatibility with MechoShades and SWF product lines.
  • Prepare and coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents in line with project standards.
  • Develop detailed project proposals, including scope, specifications, and pricing documentation.
  • Project management duties to include site dimensions, Punch, tracking orders
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and provide technical support during design and implementation.

The Architectural Solutions Specialist – Window Coverings is expected to support the design, documentation, and execution of window covering projects, primarily focusing on MechoShades and SWF products. The role involves reviewing drawings, performing accurate takeoffs, preparing proposals, and coordinating technical documentation to ensure each project meets design intent and client requirements. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, and a sense of urgency to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with architectural drawings, elevations, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Basic proficiency in Bluebeam (for takeoffs and markups) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (coursework or internship experience acceptable).
  • Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn product applications and project coordination.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
