Organize outreach and information sessions for local suppliers interested in employment, training, or other opportunities and align with stakeholder engagement.
Lead supply chain’s participation in the development of social responsibility best practices for the organization and promote the adoption of industry best practices into supply chain practices.

Support the Supply Chain monthly reports for projects.
Identify and implement any additional opportunities for economic and social development.
Support diversification of suppliers and subcontractors within the Supply Chain organization.
Monitor and support reporting on social responsibility outcomes (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Lead the interface with various project leads including engineering, marine, QHSE and project management team.
Train regional stakeholders in responding to owner requirements for diverse and local content.
Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams.
Develop and understand sourcing and material management strategy for the Project.
Support the Business Line and Projects by participating in initiatives.
Responsible for Supply Chain Budget and managing all marine services and procurement to ensure project schedule.
Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures.
Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures.
Support project-level resources with diversity, social responsibilities, and local content strategies to effectively implement plans and procedures and respond to change or new challenges.
Establish win-win partnerships with diverse and local suppliers that benefit communities, projects, and customers.
Lead the project’s effort and oversee project staff.

Understand the major suppliers in the area and maintain relationships.
Experience working in SCM executing offshore projects in the meditaranimum and Africa is an advantage.
Knowledge in Marine activities and 3rd party vessel chartering.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Understanding of national and international regulations around diversity and human rights.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or suitable qualification.
15+ years experience executing EPCI and T&I lump sum projects for major international oil companies working for a SURF contractor.
Ability to manage the project critical path, manage suppliers and take accountability for delivery to a Lump Sum budget on the Projects.
Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
