What you would be doing

Case Management- Managing obsolescence cases using excel trackers to create/develop, update, and close out cases and to track current/outstanding workload on programs. Using the team’s tracker; you will manage engineering tasks and tracking completion of tasks. You will be tasked with developing and updated obsolescence Quad Charts with engineering input to track funding requests and case solution implementation.
Proactive Monitoring- will be assigned to work directly with various Navy organizations to identify obsolescence issues and develop solutions. They will be required to communicate with Navy engineers and vendors through meetings, email, phone calls, and Navy software such as Remedy.
Reporting- will be assigned to develop bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly reports in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This will include consolidating information from Vendor Survey’s and Cases to provide updated status.
Logistics Research- will be assigned with researching technical information on various Navy databases (OneTouch, FEDMALL, Deckplate, etc.) to collect part information.

Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to follow work instructions and work somewhat independently are highly desirable traits.
Exposure to online part catalogs and researching how to find alternate parts from distributors.
Individual shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Proficient with Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to participate and at times lead weekly and monthly working group meetings.
Good verbal and written communications skills to be able to communicate with customers and vendors.
Ability to review technical documentation at a basic level and communicate with engineers on solutions to obsolescence issues.
Workflow Management- Candidate will possess strong delegation skills, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively based on team strengths and project priorities. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to collaborate closely with NDIs DMS team and external customers, facilitating clear communication around tasking, progress, and issue resolution.
This work is NOT remote. Working in the Philadelphia, PA office is required.
