Are you a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, commercial plumbing, and wastewater system maintenance? We’re looking for a Wastewater Technician to support operations by repairing wastewater systems and control panels, ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical components, including wiring, relays, circuits, and control panels in lift stations and wastewater facilities. You’ll also assist with pump repairs, system maintenance, and daily operations to keep water and wastewater treatment systems running efficiently.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform duties in inclement weather.
- Experience with estimating and proposal writing.
- 1-2+ years of experience in general facility mechanics, controls, and operations (experience in water/wastewater operations is a plus but not required).
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Stable employment history, favorable references, and a strong track record of attendance and punctuality.
- Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.
- Knowledge of electrical repairs and testing, plumbing, pump repair and operation, water sampling, and wastewater sampling.
- Travel up to 80% of the time throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama (Southeast Region).
- Operator License is a plus but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components on control panels. (e.g., lift stations)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
