Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power/control/monitoring wiring.
Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switchgear.
Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems.
Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.

Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
Strong communication skills and ability to build a positive rapport with customers and colleagues
Effective problem-solver with strong analytical skills
First aid trained/qualified
Ability to work as part of a team and lone working
Containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit) experience
Full UK drivers licence
SMSTS or SSSTS qualified
NVQ level 3
Confined space trained/qualified
CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
CompEx trained/qualified
Fire alarm installation experience
PASMA trained/qualified
MEWPs/IPAF trained/qualified
