Collects, receives, labels, and/or analyzes samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary. Collects a wide variety of environmental monitoring samples and implements strict protocol and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and sample integrity.
Follows and ensures that safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory.

Two years of experience utilizing laboratory equipment to conduct tests, perform chemical analyses, and execute routine lab tasks on various materials.
Ability to keep accurate and timely records and prepare a variety of reports.
Ability to perform general lab tests on non-hazardous and hazardous substances.
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Knowledge of the safe and effective use of lab equipment and understanding of the hazards and safety precautions relating to chemicals.
Basic knowledge of soil, groundwater and gas sample collection procedures and chain-of-custody protocol.
