In this Field Application Engineering (FAE) role you will be responsible for the successful implementation of the product as well as understanding user needs and applications. The role will require a high level of technical expertise and commercial judgement to achieve desired business outcomes. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the assigned product lines to support Product Management, Sales, and other functional groups to execute the strategy across Delta businesses, partners and customers. Creating strong working relationships with key stakeholders will be important to harnessing organizational impact beyond the assigned product technology and expanding beyond to the portfolio and solutions level. This role will be responsible for on-site support at customers, key accounts, and partners - success will rely on leveraging progressive project management methodologies and an expert-level mindset. The ideal candidate will be especially curious and carry an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Interprets internal/external business issues and recommends solutions
- Exercises independent judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Post-Sales Trouble shooting product issues, validation, on-site and RMA/Rework Assistance
- Develop and maintain relationships
- Contributes to the development of the functional strategy
- Assist Product Launch and defines areas of product improvement for next gen
- Supplying any issues/bugs/errors back to the R&D team
- Uses broad expertise, unique knowledge, and skills to contribute to development of company objectives to achieve goals
- Work with PM and Marketing to make sure product documentation on web page, production selection site and supplied to customers is accurate
- Attend tradeshows and support technical conversations with potential customers
- Support Sales team and Customers with product training.
- Develops Power Points for Sales team to use when promoting the product
- Testing new product introductions to verify they perform to specifications
- Increase application know-how, developing application notes for product and architecture
- Communicate ideas to a team and see the bigger picture of how your work will be used by others in the organization
- Acts independently to develop methods and procedures on new or unique assignments
- Verifying the Manual is correct compared to Function
- Staying up to date with industry and business: marketing trends, customer demographics, technical advances, and competition
- Works on significant and unique issues where an analysis of situation or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
- Support Email, Web, and Phone call service requests

B.S.E. (EE or related) & 0-3 years experience
Communication skills to resolve routine automation product technical support issues within company policies/procedures
Historically demonstrated technical capacity with a hands-on background in designing, installing, programming or testing of selected product category,
Solves limited scope product related problems from detailed instructions
Product Knowledge
Knowledge and experience with Industrial grade brands in the selected product category
can work in fast fast-paced environment

- Highly motivated self-starter with time management skills

- Mandarin speaking ability a plus
