The Project Manager I is a mid‑level role responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service. This position supports several small to medium projects or one large project under senior project management guidance.
Key duties include planning and organizing projects, supervising activities, assigning tasks, preparing detailed estimates, managing change orders, monitoring construction schedules and budgets, preparing monthly cost reports, and representing the company in project meetings.
Successful candidates demonstrate professional demeanor, strong performance‑management skills, extensive safety knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Accubid and Oracle preferred), and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining positive communication.
Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering, and at least three years of construction project management experience. The role may require up to 25% travel and involves work primarily on active construction sites with occasional lifting of up to 30 lb.
