Cleaner (On-call)

Description

• Respond quickly to urgent clean-ups to keep spaces safe and presentable, including on-call requests
• Take on deep-cleaning tasks such as stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and moving furniture when needed
• Maintain washrooms to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• We look for ways to continuously improve our processes and operations to spend less time on paperwork and more time assisting clients
• Represent Edon in a professional and friendly manner as a first point of contact for tenants and clients
• Safely collect and dispose of waste in line with facility requirements
• Maintain facility cleanliness in accordance with Edon Management’s standards and contract requirements
• Handle light duties like dusting, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning

Requirements

• Basic understanding of English (reading and writing)
• Strong customer relations skills
• Valid Driver’s License and owns a personal vehicle to drive to site
• Previous cleaning experience considered an asset
• We are committed to safety (COR certified) by providing you with the right tools, supplies and safe work practices.
• Ability for night shift schedule
