DOB Licensed Site Safety Coordinator

Description

• Immediately address and correct unsafe conditions or practices.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Coordinate and communicate with DOB inspectors and ensure site is always inspection-ready.
• Conduct safety orientation for all new workers and ensure appropriate certifications (e.g., OSHA, SST cards) are on file.
• Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel on-site.
• Develop, implement, and oversee site-specific safety plans in compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
• Maintain all required DOB documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection records.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, and all state and local regulations.
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or other related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years' experience in safety management of Major Capital Construction Projects, including Heavy Civil Construction.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
