- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe both in the branch and on job sites.
- Communicate job requirements and customer needs effectively to the Branch Manager.
- Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on‑call schedule for emergency service support.
- Lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods; stand 4‑5 hours at a time.

We are seeking a Portable Field Technician who will play a critical role in supporting branch operations by ensuring timely delivery, setup, maintenance, and retrieval of HVAC rental equipment. This hands‑on, customer‑focused position requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a field‑based environment.
The role is based primarily in the portable cooling shop/warehouse and requires frequent travel to job sites using company vehicles. Employees are regularly exposed to outdoor weather, construction environments, and HVAC equipment, and must adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Ability to lift 50 lb and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Pass a medical DOT exam.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld/mobile devices.
- Forklift or warehouse equipment operation experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, math, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
