Assist in the coordination of design elements with other disciplines, including civil engineering and architecture.
Participate in site visits to observe and document project progress and assist in preparing site reports.
Under the direction of senior team members, assist in the preparation of landscape architectural construction documents, including site layout, hardscape, planting, irrigation, and lighting plans.
Assist in due diligence efforts by conducting research on site conditions, environmental constraints, jurisdictional and ordinance requirements, and document all findings.
Participate in internal project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
Prepare base files and convert digital data into usable formats for design and documentation.
Support the development of 2D and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Lumion.
Perform revisions as marked up and directed by senior team members and self-check completed work for accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge regarding land-use activities.
Ability to function independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Experience in simultaneously balancing multiple projects is preferred.
Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
Travel required on an as-needed basis.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Lumion, and Bluebeam.
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field is required.
0-3 years of professional experience in landscape architecture is preferred. Internship/Co-ops may be counted towards years of experience.
Progression toward Landscape Architecture Registration is encouraged.
