Review and balance workload leveling across the team
Serve as external technical expert supporting GSI technical reputation and in client meetings and negotiations.

Provide analysis, design, and estimation of projects from simple to complex.
Responsible for hiring best in class talent for the work of today and the future
Manage team assignments according to work demands, skills of team members, and developmental goals
Function as Engineer of Record (EOR) for projects.
Be the voice of the Design team on the development of cross functional tools and efficiencies
Monitor quality of deliverables.
Identifies and coordinates the use of external consultants and SMEs, including contract negotiation, review of work products, and approving invoicing.

BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or similar equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams to accomplish clear results.
20% Engineering
10+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience leading interdisciplinary teams.
MS in Civil or Geological Engineering, with Geotechnical or Geostructural emphasis.
Experience leading teams and achieving performance metrics.
GE and/or SE certification.
Demonstrated understanding of construction means, methods, costs, and schedules to drive efficient and correct estimates.
Demonstrated Ability to manage risk and ambiguity.
In depth knowledge of the principles and practices of Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, and Geotechnical Construction.
15+ years of relevant professional experience in multiple aspects of geotechnical engineering design and construction.
