Description

Caregivers work a full‑time shift from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and mobility while preserving dignity and confidentiality. The role requires following care plans, documenting observations, responding promptly to resident alerts, and participating in safety drills. Team members collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care.

• Provide assistance with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Follow resident care plans, document conditions, and report changes immediately.
• Transport residents safely and perform regular safety checks and emergency drill assistance.
• Uphold resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

All employees must comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, resident rights, and licensing requirements, and must not be classified as an “Excluded Party” for facilities receiving Medicare or Medicaid funds. Ongoing background checks, health screenings, and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory to maintain the highest standards of care.

• Meet physical demands: lift 40+ lb, push 150 lb, kneel, squat, and reach overhead.
• Required: high school diploma or equivalent, 18 + years old, first‑aid certification; Nurse Aide certification and caregiving experience preferred.
