The Senior Manager, RBS (Regal Rexnord Business System) will coach, teach, and facilitate continuous improvement activities across all sites in the Chain, Belt Drives, and Components division. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert on RBS processes and partners with people leaders to embed the methodology into the division’s culture. It is a global, multi‑site functional leadership position supporting manufacturing sites in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Germany.
Key outcomes include delivering cost savings, increasing the number of Kaizen and other improvement activities tenfold within the first two years, and doubling Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) savings year‑over‑year by the end of year two. The incumbent will develop a Lean roadmap, partner with local leadership to complete Policy Deployment/X‑Matrix/Hoshin Kanri at each site, and train, coach, and mentor staff on RBS processes. Additional goals are to standardize operations management practices, create development plans for local RBS leaders, and train ten Lean Tool Champions within two years.
Critical competencies for success include clear written and verbal communication, strong collaboration and persuasion skills, proactive idea generation, strategic thinking, and analytical ability to draw insights from data. The role also demands persistence, effective organization and planning, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to focus on key priorities while managing project schedules and budgets.
Minimum requirements are the ability to travel internationally up to 75% of the time, at least seven years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in industrial manufacturing, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred qualifications include multi‑site leadership experience, direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, and Six Sigma certification.
