A strong understanding of fault resilience principles (e.g. redundancy and diversity) is essential.
Technical Oversight Proficiency: Demonstrated leadership in electrical engineering, with the ability to provide technical oversight and act as an intelligent customer for external design packages.
Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
Chartered Engineer or Fellow of a relevant professional institution (desirable).
Adherence to Industry Standards: Deep knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations that drive good electrical system design.
Effective Stakeholder Communication: Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly and compellingly to internal and external stakeholders.
Comprehensive Electrical Systems Design Proficiency: Significant experience in the full lifecycle of electrical system design, including specification, assessment, verification, testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Application of Advanced System Methodologies: Experience applying systems engineering methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), to electrical systems.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (Applicants without a degree who can demonstrate suitable experience will also be considered)
