- Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
- Navigate diverse terrains
- Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions and exposure to traffic, heat, cold, and other adverse conditions
- Ability to operate motorized equipment
- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, survey and drafting technologies, data collectors, and robotic total stations
- Experience working to prepare ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic and Utility Surveys, experience with Abandoned Mine Land projects, Natural Gas Pipeline projects, and Transportation projects
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, or other related field preferred
- Experience with Pipeline As-Built Surveys including pipe tally reports and weld location
- 8+ years of survey crew chief experience
- Experience with Trimble & Topcon GPS and Trimble Total Stations; Trimble and Topcon Data collectors; and Trimble Access software
- Valid driver's license
- SIT is preferred, but not required
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D Software
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and programs used in computer aided drafting
