In this role you will handle accounts payable processing, ensure timely rent collection, provide lease administration, track certificates of insurance, generate service contracts, complete financial reporting, assist with budgeting and asset planning, perform vendor quality assurance, participate in emergency response procedures, support move‑in/move‑out activities, and manage tenant‑relation programs.
The Property Management Intern position runs from June 1 to August 7, 2026 at JLL’s Chicago office and is an on‑site role. Interns will learn the fundamentals of property management, invoicing and payment systems, and tenant experience and support.
Candidates should be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with 2‑3 years completed in business or a related field and demonstrate a strong interest in property management. Required attributes include initiative, public‑speaking confidence, relationship‑building ability, problem‑solving creativity, the capacity to work independently with minimal direction, and strong teamwork skills. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; the internship does not provide relocation assistance, housing, or visa sponsorship.
The internship offers an estimated annual compensation of $8,400–$9,600 and includes a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid parental leave at 100 % of salary, paid time off and company holidays, and early access to earned wages through Daily Pay.
