Works closely with the permit expeditors, project managers, design team and consultants to monitor and expedite the development process.
Maintains relationships between the organization and outside consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Receives, organizes, and maintains all construction documents.
Monitor material usage, minimize waste, anticipate shortages, and order materials as needed.
Conduct or participate in safety audits and ensure subcontractor compliance with NR expectations. This includes all safety requirements and weekly toolbox talks, inspection reports for equipment such as stair towers, forklifts, etc.
Participate in regular review meetings with project managers.
Assists Project Managers in the preparation, review and administration of contractual proposals, contracts and purchase orders relating to construction projects.
Deliver all documentation to the office in a timely manner. Reporting required daily should be done daily and not accumulated and done every X days. This includes not only job reports such as DPR’s but also includes expense reports and information needed by the Safety Manager or safety team.
Ensure crews have information and instructions necessary to complete jobs. If information is missing or lacking, notify the Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager as soon as it is identified.
Supervise foremen to lead safe and efficient roof system installations.
Perform site take-offs and communicate information to Estimating in a timely, clear and accurate manner. When take-off information cannot be relayed to Estimating by the day following the site visit, communicate this via email to Estimating the day of the take-off along with why it is not possible.
Review final paperwork to ensure contract information, change orders, RFI’s, Clients Update & billing accuracy.
Oversee field staff and/or sub-contractor(s), assisting with crew leadership, as required.
To provide leadership to foremen—fostering safety, teamwork, and discipline—resulting in efficient and professional roof system installation.
Track labor hours and production against stated goals. In some instances, this may require getting pictures which show a subcontractor is recording time properly.
Schedule daily or weekly contact with customers to review progress.
To effectively manage all aspects of production to meet company and project goals.
Engage with customers to answer questions and provide explanations.
Monitor quality of installations. This will include destructive testing, such as cutting into hand welds, to make sure of proper installation techniques and results and to make sure that crew is adequately trained. Identify personnel who may need more training and communicate this to the foreman as needed. If necessary, outside resources can be brought in to provide additional training (mobile manufacturer training personnel).
Maintain understanding of contract information for jobs.
Discuss any outstanding issues with customers and other parties.
Ensure production and quality goals. This includes being accountable for the performance and quality of work and maintaining records of your efforts to do so, including recording of such efforts by photographs and reporting tools such as a periodic probing plan and other tools which may be created to help maintain record and ensure proper oversight.
Participate in manufacturer final inspection.
Review plans and sites, delegate crews and do all pre-job planning including but not limited to creating site-specific safety plans and work plan efficiencies.
Submit reports and paperwork on time and otherwise coordinate communication between office and job sites. This includes thorough, timely Daily Project Report’s and other reports needed by others for their responsibilities. If providing daily reporting is not possible for some reason, notify the Operations Manager in advance with an explanation as to why it is not possible.

Investigate incidents, near misses, accidents, and thefts, and provide relevant documents, photos and assessments to the office.
Track and maintain Salesforce software for project information and updates in a timely manner.
Offer assistance and expertise to others.
Meet with customers to verify satisfaction with work and billing; deliver warranties.
Coordinate, supervise and manage subcontractors.
Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the project management/development tracking tool, Salesforce and other business tools as needed.
Resolve complaints and grievances; assist with discipline when necessary.

(8-10) Eight to Ten years commercial roofing experience or an equivalent market, manufacturing or distribution experience servicing the commercial roofing marketplace.
Experience with roof installation of medium to large retail facilities.
Read and understand specifications and blueprints.
Willing to be trained and use company software.
Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience of a wide range of commercial roofing systems and roofing manufacturers.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and/or construction project management experience, highly preferred.
Must be able to travel frequently.
Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Experience managing roofing crews and roofing subcontractors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
