Senior Technical Advisor

In this role, you’ll combine your technical engineering expertise with commercial acumen to guide customers, influence design decisions, and grow our UCR business. You’ll be at the forefront of stormwater management innovation, helping cities and communities become more resilient to climate challenges.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to developers, engineers, and architects — translating complex technical needs into actionable, sustainable solutions — while supporting our sales teams and driving business growth.

• Champion health, safety, and sustainability across all project stages.
• Design, calculate, and support projects from concept through to implementation.
• Manage CRM activities, log customer engagements, and drive account development.
• Guide and coach sales teams, helping secure growth and profitability targets.
• Drive the UCR go-to-market strategy and build a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
• Collaborate with developers, specifiers, engineers, and contractors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Act as a technical expert and advisor for clients and internal teams, shaping designs and delivering project guidance.
• Provide market insights and intelligence to strengthen our position and strategy.

• Proficiency in CRM, project management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage on both technical and business levels.
• A degree in engineering, urban planning, or related disciplines — Master’s preferred.
• Experience in both technical design and commercial project sales.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative spirit, and a passion for sustainability.
• Strong technical background in stormwater management, urban climate resilience, or related systems.
• 5+ years of UK market experience in engineering, infrastructure, or water management sectors.
• Proven ability to influence client decisions and turn complex challenges into solutions.
