Key accountabilities include driving virtual team members to define technical solutions, integrate and validate complex solutions, manage scope, schedule, risks, and vendor relationships, while driving cost-effective outcomes and organizational alignment.
The Program Director – Network Delivery is responsible for leading the delivery of critical network programs within the SEO SEND portfolio, overseeing all components from requirements through trial deployments to operational handover.
This role manages complex, cross-functional teams and ensures alignment across stakeholders, prioritization, and governance to meet ambitious milestones.
The Program Director provides clear direction, influences across a matrix organization, and ensures delivery on time and within budget.
They must demonstrate strong vendor and stakeholder management, advanced problem-solving, and the ability to lead through ambiguity while setting clear direction.
Expertise in both project management and Telecommunication Network technologies including FTTx, HFC, IP, MPLS, QoS, Metro Ethernet, DWDM, and orchestration are essential, along with 20+ years’ experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the delivery of complex and highly integrated new capabilities into Telecommunication Networks and IT support systems, and an ability to create a sense of confidence and trust within a diverse set of senior leaders and stakeholders from across nbn.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and technical writing skills, combined with commercial acumen and innovative thinking, are critical for success in this role.
