As part of the integrated design team, interns will contribute to commercial, educational, and municipal building projects, gaining hands‑on experience in design tools, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration while supporting DLR Group’s brand promise of Elevating the Human Experience.

• Collaborate with design team on integrated design process for commercial, educational, and municipal projects
• Develop skills in Revit, Enscape, and DLR Group design methods
• Prepare presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite
• Contribute to material selection and mood board creation
• Support project pursuits and business development activities
• Participate in project and site meetings and deliver presentations
• Assist in maintaining material libraries and vendor relationships
• Submit a current portfolio in PDF format

Requirements

The Boston studio is seeking Interior Design Summer Interns for multiple on‑site locations, with applications accepted on a rolling basis. This full‑time, paid internship runs from May 19 to August 7, 2026, and requires students to be present in the office, not remote.

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s Interior Design/Interior Architecture program (accredited preferred) with at least three years of design education
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, or similar software (preferred)
• Familiarity with Mural visual collaboration tool (preferred)
• Strong visual, verbal, and non‑verbal communication skills (preferred)
• Prior internship or commercial design experience (preferred)
