
Develops and manufactures insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composite building materials.
The role involves performing all electrical, mechanical, sheet‑metal, welding, instrumentation, and pipe‑fitting work required to maintain plant equipment and facilities. The incumbent uses process and maintenance knowledge to plan and execute tasks, and provides leadership and training to other maintenance staff.
Key responsibilities include procuring materials, participating in diverse maintenance activities such as electrical, mechanical, PLC, alignment and vibration analysis, and performing welding, cutting, and soldering operations. The employee also conducts fire and safety inspections, modifies circuits and logic, installs conduit and wiring, and repairs burner control systems, lighting fixtures, and PLCs.
The position requires a valid authorization to work in the United States, basic computer proficiency, and familiarity with SAP PM, electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprint reading. Additional abilities include basic welding, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure while working independently or in a team.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and preferably five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, covering electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment. Experience with troubleshooting, blueprint interpretation, welding practices, and advanced electrical circuitry is essential.
The job demands physical stamina: ability to work at heights, stand 8‑12 hours, lift 40 lb repeatedly, and perform repetitive motions in environments with temperature extremes and noise. Employees must adhere to safety regulations, maintain a clean work area, and be able to rotate among varying shifts.
